HCCI is more than an organization, it is a movement born from lived experience.
As a young refugee, Heri Tulia Luc faced immense hardship, isolation, and lack of opportunity. But instead of giving up, he chose to rise, using every challenge as a lesson and every setback as motivation.
At just 19 years old, he began mobilizing fellow youth, teaching practical skills, and creating safe spaces. What started as a small effort to teach tailoring has grown into a community initiative transforming lives.
"No one should suffer alone when solutions can be built together."
Expand vocational training centers and increase access to education and livelihood programs across Uganda and beyond.
Secure sewing machines, training materials, and essential tools to equip more beneficiaries.
Build strong international and local partnerships to reach more refugee and vulnerable communities.
HCCI welcomes partnerships with NGOs, humanitarian organizations, donors, development partners, private sector actors, and individuals willing to support or collaborate.
